Wadjemup is the traditional owners name for Rottnest Island. The Lodge Wadjemup captures and connects to the essence of this unique place, providing the perfect base for your Rottnest Island adventure.
Located behind the settlement, facing the iconic salt lakes. Stage 1 will open Summer ‘24 / ‘25 bringing a newly built reception with communal eat & drink spaces, and our ‘Courtyard Rooms’ and ‘Lake Rooms’ in the heritage buildings of the site. Opening mid 2025, Stage 2 will bring all new ‘Poolhouse Rooms’ accommodation and a pool and function rooms.

Our Courtyard Rooms and Lake Rooms are Opening Summer ‘24 / ‘25.
In mid 2025, Stage 2 will bring Poolhouse Rooms, with a pool for all guests, and Function Rooms.

Shelter and refresh. ‘Sunsets’ is an open dining / bar space with indoor and outdoor areas, serving great locally sourced Mediterranean inspired food and great drinks; from ice cold beer, to custom cocktails, to a serious focus on wine. Entry is off Kitson St or Boreham St, just come on in!
‘Pelican’ is our kiosk located on Kitson St facing the communal park in Rottnest’s main settlement precinct. Serving coffee, softserve and more…

Rottnest Island provides incredible experiences. Explore, swim, cycle, soak up the sun. Offering many ways to play, from skydiving to sunset sailing, from golf and lawn bowls to some of the best snorkelling you’ll find.
